Group E
Fixtures: Dynamo Kyiv (1pt) vs Bayern (12), Barcelona (6) vs Benfica (4)
• Bayern are through to the round of 16. They will be confirmed in first place if they avoid defeat by Dynamo or Barcelona do not beat Benfica.
• Barcelona will go through if they beat Benfica.
• Benfica will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose to Barcelona, though they would still be able to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
• Dynamo must beat Bayern and hope Benfica beat Barcelona to stay in contention to reach the round of 16. They will be confirmed in fourth place if they lose and Benfica do not, or if Dynamo draw and Benfica win.
Group F
Fixtures: Villarreal (7) vs Manchester United (7), Young Boys (3) vs Atalanta (5)
• Manchester United will go through if they beat Villarreal, or if both games are drawn.
• Villarreal will go through if they beat United and Atalanta do not beat Young Boys.
• Atalanta must beat Young Boys to stay in contention to reach the round of 16 without having to depend on other results.
• Young Boys must beat Atalanta to stay in contention to reach the round of 16. They will be confirmed in fourth place if they lose.
Group G
Fixtures: Sevilla (3) vs Wolfsburg (5), LOSC Lille (5) vs Salzburg (7)
• Salzburg will go through if they beat LOSC.
• Neither LOSC nor Wolfsburg can go through or be eliminated on Matchday 5.
• Sevilla will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose to Wolfsburg, but would still be able to qualify for the UEFA Europa League. Sevilla will be confirmed in fourth place if they lose and LOSC avoid defeat by Salzburg.
Group H
Fixtures: Chelsea (9) vs Juventus (12), Malmö (0) vs Zenit (3)
• Juventus are through to the round of 16. They will be confirmed in first place if they draw with Chelsea.
• Chelsea will be through to the round of 16 if they do not lose to Juventus or if Zenit do not beat Malmö.
• Zenit will remain in contention to reach the round of 16 if they beat Malmö and Chelsea lose to Juventus. Zenit will be confirmed in third place and reach the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs if they draw, or if they win and Chelsea do not lose.
• Malmö are unable to finish in the top two. They must beat Zenit to stay in contention for third place and a spot in the UEFA Europa League.
Wednesday 24 November
Group A
Fixtures: Manchester City (9) vs Paris Saint-Germain (8), Club Brugge (4) vs Leipzig (1)
• Manchester City will go through if they avoid defeat by Paris or if Club Brugge fail to beat Leipzig. City will be confirmed in first place if they win.
• Paris will go through if they beat City, or if they draw and Club Brugge do not beat Leipzig, or even if they lose to City and Club Brugge also lose.
• Club Brugge will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose, or if they draw and Paris do not lose to City. They will be confirmed in third place and qualify for the UEFA Europa League if they draw and Paris avoid defeat.
• Leipzig cannot finish in the top two but will remain in contention to qualify for the UEFA Europa League if they beat Club Brugge.
Group B
Fixtures: Liverpool (12) vs Porto (5), Atlético (4) vs AC Milan (1)
• Liverpool are through to the round of 16 as group winners.
• Porto will go through if they beat Liverpool and Atlético lose to Milan.
• Atlético must win to stay in contention to reach the round of 16 without having to depend on other results.
• Milan must win to stay in contention for either a round of 16 or UEFA Europa League place. Milan will be unable to finish in the top two regardless of their own result if Porto win.
Group C
Fixtures: Beşiktaş (0) vs Ajax (12), Sporting CP (6) vs Borussia Dortmund (6)
• Ajax are through to the round of 16. They will be confirmed in first place if they do not lose to Beşiktaş, or if Sporting do not beat Dortmund.
• Dortmund will go through if they beat Sporting.
• Sporting will go through if they beat Dortmund by a margin of two goals or more. They will be confirmed in third place and qualify for the UEFA Europa League if they lose.
• Beşiktaş cannot finish in the top two. They will remain in contention for a third place and UEFA Europa League qualification if they beat Ajax and Dortmund lose to Sporting.
Group D
Fixtures: Sheriff (6) vs Real Madrid (9), Inter (7) vs Shakhtar Donetsk (1)
• Madrid will go through if they beat Sheriff. They will be confirmed in first place if they win and Inter do not beat Shakhtar.
• Inter will go through if they beat Shakhtar and Sheriff do not beat Madrid.
• Sheriff will go through if they beat Madrid and Inter lose to Shakhtar. They will be confirmed in third place and qualify for the UEFA Europa League if they lose and Inter beat Shakhtar.
• Shakhtar must beat Inter to stay in contention to reach the round of 16 but would still depend on other results.
